KC Bier Co, Pure Pils, 4.8%, Keg Label, https://ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=20241001000352 Hey you just reminded me with this post, isn't it about time for KCBC Schwarzbier to start showing up at bottle shops around town? Re: Boulevard discontinues Bully! Porter

I think there's quite a craft lager movement in progress at the moment. I wish west coast IPA's would make a comeback. There's way too much focus on hazy IPA's--a style that KC doesn't generally do very well anyway IMO (fighting words to some people, I know). That is really cool to hear. I have to ...

Re: Boulevard discontinues Bully! Porter

Hey, thanks for the heads up! I will at least consider buying one of these, thus far I have not purchased a single Blvd product since Feb (or Firestone, Duvel, Ommegang, etc.). I am finding it to be pretty easy. LOTS of beer out there these days. I do wish the US craft beer scene would move on a bit...

Re: New in August

Afraid I can't help you with that one, man! It has been a LONG time since I actually bought a pumpkin beer. I'm pretty sure it was the Southern Tier Pumpking, which everyone said was a great example, and I still didn't love it.

Man, I do miss ST though, they had some great beers.

Favorite lower gravity beers

So, now that I am on a tiny bit of a health kick, I have decided that low gravity, low ABV might be the way to go, at least for right now. Does anyone have any favorite "session" or other beers on that end of the spectrum that they would recommend? I bought some Oskar Blues One-y ( ) not l...
