You can still pack beer in your checked luggage. Your only limit is the 50lb wight limit. Southwest still allows 2 free pieces of checked luggage which makes beer traveling with Southwest much more rewarding. You cannot legally ship beer but all of us do anyway. One more thing, as far as beers to look for. The best beer in Seattle comes from Portland. So, look for Portland beers. I'll say that pFriem may be my favorite OR brewery.

Off topic, but I rarely check in here anymore. Blvd has the strangest distro in Seattle. We generally get all the typical 750mL releases and the seasonal 6 packs. hey joker, I've been living in Seattle for about 2 years. I am guessing you will have a car. You will need to avoid driving during rush hour to Seattle b/c its a shitty commute from Kent to Seattle.
