Re: New in Novembeer

Well after going to Gomer's Midtown last night and tonight... Regular BCS was out yesterday, but its gone now. A guy in line, did offer me some of his BCS stash that he has at home, though, when I commented on that. For the record, beer folks are genuinely awesome in this town! And found no BCS the...

Re: Blvd Unfiltered Tour

Just went on the Unfiltered tour last weekend and tried a new Black Rye IPA test beer. The $$ was worth it just for that. I really hope they bring that to production. And after seeing the hoard of people going down the steps from the normal tour, our small group looked even more appealing. Black Ry...

Re: New Members - Introduce Yourself

Not too new. Came first as this is now the best source for new releases in town, but this looks to be easily the best local forum here. I dabbled with Boulevard and Sam Adams for a while but in 2004 or so I had a Dead Guy at Dish Pizza...the web search led me to the BA website and really opened my e...

Re: What are you drinking?

Double Bastard tonight. Liked it equally to Lukcy Basartd I think but I know the Double is far easier to get. But with everything out I can't afford more than 1 of anything (and in some cases none at all!). This time of year is tough on the budget :o

Re: New in Novembeer

Nutcracker Ale and Harvest Dance Wheat Wine hit shelves today Ive seen celebration hitting in topeka and Wichita, is it here too? I'm sure this week, just wondering. Lukas MO said they got it last Friday so I imagine it's at most of the usual suspects by now, will have to nab some tomorrow with the...

Re: New in Octobeer

The highest I've seen Lagunitas is $4.79 at Westport Sunfresh...in other news, Gomer's on 39th has Bridgeport Dark Rain sixers for $3. They had more? Last Friday people were tearing that stuff out of the cooler at that price. Maybe a bit past its prime but still OK, certainly worth 50 cents/bottle.

Re: New in August

I picked up a Reverb @ Metcalf Discount Liquors. I just went there, too. 2 bottle limit. Other new stuff of note that I found there: Shmaltz/Terrapin collaboration ($6), and more Shmaltz, Barrel-Aged Human Blockhead ($11 -- surprisingly highly rated, also - http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/coney-island...
