I’ve had it. I think the DDH Galaxy is great. Definitely the best boulevard IPA I’ve tasted. I’ve only been to the beer hall once so i’ve missed most of the tasting room ones. The Southern Hemisphere is fine. Maybe I just don’t get brut IPAs. This is my second, and I don’t see anything good about them. Yours could be great, but it is apparently not to my taste. Thanks

You are not alone. I get why it would be interesting to brew them, but so far I haven't found any that I enjoy. I appreciate the ongoing experimentation, though. Now, onto the next thing...

This boulevard IPA pack was next level for them. The brut ipa was the first of that style that I've had that wasn't boring like a table beer equivalent. The galaxy hops in the IPA didn't taste like medicinal cat piss smell in the taste which usually is a trait of that hop. Exceptionally thoroughly put together beers with the palate in mind.

Plaid Habit, a double-mashed imperial brown ale matured for 18 months in freshly emptied 10-year Canadian rye whisky barrels, drops starting in the Greater Kansas City Area today!

4-packs! Yay! Those are just SO much better than 750s for those huge beers.

A few nights ago I drank my last bottle of Rye on Rye on Rye, and I mean, it was great stuff, but that turned out to be too much and I woke up with a little bit of a headache.

Kudos to whoever is responsible for the change, I hope it becomes industry-wide (which it seems to be?).

Completely agree! I basically stopped buying bombers (unless they were $4-6 IPAs!), so I'm happy to be able to get some of these strong beers again but in a more manageable amount.

Hey Jeremy - I haven't had Plaid yet (bought a 4 pack today), but I'm curious if it's the same base beer as Requiem.

Messenger in a Bottle, the next Brewhouse One Series beer, drops on 11/21 exclusively in the BLVD Tours & Rec Center Gift Shop. For more details on this massive, double mash imperial stout aged twice in J. Rieger's Whiskey barrels before resting on Messenger's Guatemalan coffee and Madagascar vanilla beans, head to my Brewer's Blog post:
