It's interesting to watch the IPA market around here, especially with The Calling, Sucks, and Ruination 2/Enjoy By all essentially year round now. Beers I might drive around to find last year like Hoptimum or Double Trouble is less likely now if fresh Sucks or Calling is sitting right there.

Agreed, we are not hurting for IPAs/DIPAs around here. Don't forget Enjoy By, Myrcenary and Cloud Hopper!

anyone seen Prairie Pirate Noir?
Pirate Noir is supposedly dropping on the Kansas side next week. Woot.

LDF rep. I spoke to today, made it sound Pirate Noir was a ways away. Did say that Funky Gold Mosaic and Prairie Hop were the next two coming out.

SB dropped several CS beers off today, also heard Total Wine is setting up shop in MO soon, and apparently that is going to bring a few new breweries to be available in MO (or just them, I don't know)

That's cool, total wine offers almost every beer they sell as a single, which I appreciate when traveling.

I like Total Wine as well. Making all of their beers available as singles is definitely a big reason for that. Looks like they have 3 stores planned for St. Louis opening anywhere from late summer to fall. Scoping out other sites in Missouri as well.

My LDF insider said that Pirate Noir is sitting in their warehouse waiting on Kansas label approval. Could be this week/ could be a few weeks. It's all in the beer-eaucracy's hands.

Not sure how limited it was this time around or if people are still hunting for it but we (Lukas OP) still have about a case or so of Wootstout up front with the cashiers, one bottle limit, and as of 5 when I left there was still some Enjoy After which is on the shelf. Also, heard the same from my LDF rep that they do have Praire Noir in the warehouse which we were suppose to get Tuesday but some logistic problems have caused a delay. He said hopefully Friday or next Tuesday. We still have plenty of Okie and Bomb! though if you want it.
