Bourbon County 2017

Besides the AB piece of it, I think Boulevard has a lot of better, but similar quality equivalents to the GI beers so people go for Boulevard first because it's local to KC. If Blvd wasn't in KC, I bet KC would buy more GI.

Well that actually makes a bit of sense - GI has nice Saisons but Tank 7 and Saison-Brett are the choices here. I know locals not huge into craft beer but love Tank 7, so I could imagine a huge difference in the local sales between them.

Having three different distributors in the city splitting all those sales doesn’t help either

I don't think this is as big of a factor, really. If you look at larger cities around the nation, most are serviced by multiple distributors.
