This is the second time I've seen the term "double mash" used in a Boulevard release announcement. Can you clarify what that means?

Double mash means that we're mashing in twice for each batch. Instead of collecting second runnings/sparging, we're just collecting first wort. This results in a much higher gravity wort.

Ah, ok. Exactly what it sounds like. Thanks.

Snow & Tell is out. I am not sure when it was released exactly, but it is very much worth a mention, IMO. That stuff has quickly become one of my favorite Blvd seasonals.

I also picked up a Barrel-Aged Great Eight sample pack tonight, pretty curious about that cognac-aged Saison in particular. I don't think I really like cognac at all, but am curious nonetheless.

Sad to hear that this sold out so quickly and that there where people buying case loads of it. Hopefully I can get one in a trade.

I wasn't a fan of the coffee paired with vanilla beans. Super drinkable tho aside from preference.

Based in prior BH1 releases I was planning to head down there early this afternoon. Oops. I'm sure Boulevard is getting an earful about applying limits, so I won't pile on.

They fixed the limit problem pretty quick from what I understand, but people kept lining up. They were gonna sell out regardless.

Agreed. A friend was in line before 11:00 and got the last 4 pack. I'm glad I have friends. ;-)
