I have been watching the COLA labels lately and figured it might be nice to share what I am seeing locally coming down the line. COLA does not allow me to copy the image location so it will be the whole label approval with the label listed below.

One thing I will say (as always speaking just for myself and/or Torn Label) is that just because a label was submitted for COLA or state brand label registration doesn't mean that beer will necessarily be brewed or distributed. With the process of federal and state approval often being a lengthy one (certainly not as lengthy as times in the recent past, but still a time consideration for sure), it is sometimes the case that I submit a beer that's in discussion to be produced for keg collar approval as soon as we can (that is, once we know the anticipated name, style and ABV) so that we will have the ability to distribute by the time the beer is brewed should we choose to, especially in the case of a new beer that's hop-forward so we don't lose out on freshness waiting on label approval. But a COLA doesn't necessarily mean in every case that you can count on that particular beer being distributed or even brewed.

Thank you for pointing this out drawkward82, I had it in my first type up I did for this but had to retype everything after my log-in timed out and I guess I forgot to note it again :) If people find this annoying or unhelpful or what every say the word and I will stop posting, does not matter to me either way. A good example of this is likely what we have with BKS today with two mead labels, just getting both approved and figuring out which name they like and so forth.

Strange Days Brewing, Parooovian Gose, German-style wheat ale brewed with chiles & lime, keg label - https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicDisplaySearchBasic&ttbid=18140001000162

BKS Artisan Ales, Waldo Honey, Mead, Keg Label - https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicDisplaySearchBasic&ttbid=18127001000985

Man, if everyone cared even a little about whether their posts are annoying, the Internet would be a much more pleasant place!

I say keep 'em coming if you want to keep doing it. Interesting stuff.

Oh no, not at all! I find it interesting and fun myself - I just want to clarify so people don't necessarily get prematurely amped about a beer that may ultimately not end up being brewed.
