Obligatory BCBS thread...

So KC (at least MO side) is being blessed with at least two variants per Lukas KCMO...

Midnight Orange and Coffee Barleywine

Lukas is limiting to one bottle total (one or the other, not both) along with 2 bottles straight BCBS.

Any other scoop? KS side?

Per the Barley's Midland Facebook page:

Take a break from shopping, or ditch shopping all together for our tradition of tapping Goose Island's Annual Bourbon County Stout at 11am!

Plus BIG NEWS! We will be receiving 6 bottles of each of the Bourbon County Bramble Rye, Orange Midnight, Vanilla and Wheatwine.

This is EXTREMELY rare and limited beer. Only 12 cases came into the entire sate of Kansas, and Barley's will be the only bar/restaurant that will be receiving any of it.

We will be selling each bottle at $40 a bottle. First come first serve. Limit 1 bottle per person per flavor. Selling will start at 5pm!

So I guess 4 variants will be out there on the KS side.

Taking a pass on all that noise. There are just way too many high gravity barrel-aged beers out there nowadays. Support your local!

I would too, but regular BCBS is so easy to get these days. I only wish they still sold it in 12 oz bottles.

I've been told even regular BCBS is going to be limited this year. I think they made so many variants had to cut back on the regular.

Good to know. I'll have to try a little this year then.
