New in...July?

Post by keezer » July 23rd, 2019, 6:37 pm

We made it to Jul 23 without a New In thread. Hmmmm.

Anyway, I'm sure you all know Funkwerks is in KS now.

The funkwerks white is tasty. Decent option since bud bought up several of the tasty belgian/german brands.

I’ve been looking for little sumpin hazy but haven’t seen it. DDH galaxy ERWO dropped yesterday. Tipsys sold out by 5:00. Apparently Lukas is getting it today.

Sooo... wasn't sure where exactly to put this but there hasn't been much activity around here lately. But I was just looking for opinions on the best KC area stores for beer selection. There's a handful of places I have personally been to, but I was just interested to see what the local opinion is. I know there are a few guys here that help run stores, and go ahead, shamelessly plug yourself! There's a few places on my radar to check out, and I just want to see what you guys have to say. TIA!

Living in the Northland my go to place to buy beer is Bubbles. I think they have a pretty solid selection and are fairly priced. Their cooler selection is really good and I usually am able to find some cool stuff in there.

I was in Brookside yesterday and stopped by Mikes and was very impressed with their selection. I wish it wasn’t a 30 minute drive for me or I’d be there every week. I also really like Brookside Wine & Spirits down there.

Living in Lenexa and working in Mission I normally go to Tipsy's on Johnson Drive near Metcalf when in Mission and for Lenexa I go to Gomers on 87th in the town center. I really like all the Mike's locations when over on the MO side or Royal Liquor on State and 103rd is great too.
