It was almost completely overridden by acetic acid.

I will update tomorrow with how Brux is drinking

Any KBS or backwoods that I've had longer than a few months starts tasting bad to me. About 6 mo max, no more though

The last Brux I tried (last week) was completely flat and not good. Unfortunate, because the last time I had it, was tasting amazing. I hope it was just a bad bottle.

our was nowhere near flat. the brett character was deff shifting from a nice effervescent funk to a rotting cheese all over. It was getting pretty intense

I had a bottle in January. It was high carb I thought. The brett was very "deep", but not so over the top funk. Really enjoyed it.

I had a Brux recently that was flat as well. Got another that I'm hoping is not. I feel, in general, corked beers are really inconsistent as if they are flat or not out of the bottle. Not sure if it the corking process or something else causing this issue.

I cracked a 2011 GI BCS recently. Oxidation has definitely set in and its on the way downhill, probably should have opened this one a year ago or so, in fact. If you have any 2011 BCS, you should probably hurry up and drink it now.

On another note, I had a 2010 DFH WWS last night and it was sublime.

That sounds more like a bottle conditioning issue. There isn't anything about the packaging of corked bottles that would lead to inconsistent carbonation.

If you have a bottle of CBS drink it! I had a bottle Saturday it was still tasty but no where near as good as it is fresh.
