trying to start new fest

Postby mikennat » January 31st, 2017, 1:01 pm

The small town that I live in is thinking about having a beerfest. I know they will be stating small, but I was wondering how long would it take to get every ordered and together to have it. Do you think they could have a May beerfest ready to go if they are starting to organize it now? Any suggestions on how to speed things up?

a homebrew fest would be better. GET SPONSORS. you can put on an event with basically zero money. get everything donated. ask landowners, small businesses, restaurants, sanitation companies, insurance companies. Get the appropriate legal things as well. its a little too late for may, id try august. But ask now, a lot of companies are tying up there fiscal contributions for the year.

Boulevardia & charity festivals typically get beer donated by distributors and breweries. Very hard to believe boulevard pulls this off with the money they pull for it, but it's cool for charity festivals.
