Church hates local revenue, attacks BLVD beer garden.

Postby hopmolester69 » September 15th, 2017, 4:01 pm

So from what I am gathering a bunch of bible thumping morons are equating a beer garden with sin and debauchery. This new beer garden will bring problems to the area and distract from the teachings of the lord. OMG THE KIDS ARE TRYING TO GO TO CHURCH AND YOU ARE DRINKING BEER NEAR THEM. THE KIDS!!!!!!

Apparently they have never once met a beer hall patron/employee or visited a the beer hall. This creates a LOT of jobs and directly contributes to the local economy. This craft beer community in KC I believe to be really classy. I haven't met a single person that hasn't awesome. Stop treating us like we are the jack/coke/pbr crowd.

I saw that piece on the news last night. If they live in that community and use that park, I don't blame them for not wanting it to be taken away. If it's privately owned though, tough luck.

Craft beer people have been some of the nicest, most genuine, down-to-earth peope I've ever met. Some have also been the most pretentious, doushiest people I've ever met. They will all show up. Pretty much like the church crowd.

Just noticed this update "*Update: Since the story aired, Boulevard has withdrawn their application for the beer garden*"
