I saw this back on 12/8. They've been making it for a few years as Bourbon Barrel Aged Quadrupel so I think it's interesting they decided to rename it this year. As far as trademark law goes, you can't trademark generic statements of style like "Pale Ale" or "Unfiltered Wheat Beer" and "Bourbon Barrel Quad" falls into that because "bourbon" and "barrel" are simply generic modifiers for "quad." The same is true of Saison Brett.
