Maryland Beers to Bring Back to KC

Postby Lagerinthefront » May 7th, 2018, 7:22 pm

I am flying to Baltimore Thursday and have some downtime. Thinking about bringing an empty bag to put some beers in that we can't get here in KC. Any suggestions?

Stillwater, Heavy Seas and DuClaw are all located in Baltimore, those are great breweries. Other than that, it looks like Capt. Lawrence and The Duck-Rabbit are distributed there.

You might also consider sending beastiefan a PM, he lives in MD now.

I've would check out Whitey's liquors. Been there a couple times when I flew out to Baltimore for work last year. It's near the airport. I'm not to familar with Baltimore local breweries but they had a nice selection of beers I had never seen. Also, Mama's on the Half Shell is a good place if you are looking for a bite.

Thanks for the input! I think I will hit up Duclaw (within 5 miles of BWI & my interview location) for lunch b4 my interview. I will visit Whitey's Liquor (also < 5 miles) to stock-up a checked bag after my interview. If time permits, there is even a Duclaw inside the airport! I will set some aside to bring some to the Limitless Bottle-Share June 16th.

I was able to carve out enough time to get to Total, but there was nothing special enough in cans to justify the $25 to check my suitcase. I did get the job offer though, so if I take the job, I'll ship some special releases back here. Thanks again for the input.
