I forgot to mention on the way back from Chicago I stopped by a liquor store in Springfield, Illinois (Friar Tuck) that had 3 or 4 bottles of Boulevard Two Jokers.
Should have bought and brought back. Does no good in Illinois.
Heh, I stopped at that same Friar Tuck back in April, and they had Two Jokers, Collab #2, and tweeted about it jokingly. (https://mobile.twitter.com/jferg/status ... 60/photo/1
) Danner said he was going to "take care of it", but maybe he just meant the #2. Or maybe his hit man flaked. :->
Gomer's Lenexa recently got more Hoptimum.

Belton Hy-Vee still had some Perennial Fantastic Voyage and Mint Chocolate Stout. Probably like 8 bottles of each for anyone that missed them.

Awesome! I just had one glass of the Fantastic Voyage and missed out on the Mint Chocolate Stout. I will definitely be making the drive down there over lunch! Thanks.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I saw about 6 or 7 packs of Founders Rübæus at Gomers Midtown too.

Those of you who missed either of those two perennials should take the opportunity to try them. I'm still holding a 17 mint chocolate stout. It has a pretty high ibu count and in general their big beers age very gracefully.

If anyone in the Belton area is interested in a 2012 120-minute IPA I would trade one for the 17 MC Stout. I don't get down to that area much but could meet somewhere closer to the center of KC...
