Tallgrass Blueberry Jam
False advertisement, but blueberry granola bar might not sell very well in 2017. I really wish more beer places sold singles on most beers. I don't think this will even be good for sherbet. Maybe a cake?

Coop Saturday Siren Dry Hopped Pils. Add it to the small list of Pilsners that blew me away. Dry, crisp, refreshing with a nice little hop backbone.

Melvin Lambda^3. Triple ipa because visiting the dmv leads to drinking. Alchohol/malt (biscuit) forward. The nose is pretty good but all those hop flavors are just lost.

My first Melvin beer and maybe I just picked the wrong one to start.

2014 bottle of Boulevard's the Sixth Glass, best by date of 7/2016. This is the first time I aged one of these. I don't love the beer fresh, so the last time I bought a mix pack in 2014, I threw it at the back of the cellar to see what would happen. I much prefer this. It's a little sweeter on the palate and less boozy/harsh. I highly recommend trying this if you have the patience.

Founders DKML - Shoulda called it FML, tastes like a sad beer version of Corner Creek "bourbon". Barrels taste like Jim Beam but ruined with a corn mash. Glad the nice people at Tipsy's in Kansas outside Westport/Brookside let me buy a single, 3 Floyd's retains the crown for malt Liquor and without a barrel.

I tried the new Blvd Whiskey Barrel Stout last night. Damn, that is some good stuff! I think it's the best Stout Blvd has ever released. Better than Imperial Stout. Easily up there with the best of the barrel-aged Stouts that most people want -- Bomb!, BCBS, MILF, etc. I might even put it a notch ahead of those, just because it's brand new and the novelty hasn't worn off yet.
They say there are strangers who threaten us
Our immigrants and infidels
They say there is strangeness too dangerous
In our theaters and bookstore shelves
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves
