BCBS Coffee 2013. Delicious, but I think I really prefer the regular BCBS. The coffee plus the bourbon just makes it a little less smooth and not quite so caramelly and delicious. Still very, very tasty, though.

Anchorage Bitter Monk - Quite nice, like a Rayon Vert that's less carbonated. I'd think I'd still take a 4 pack of Rayon Vert over this though in the future.

The distributor spoke of this being discontinued. I sold out and haven't gotten any more...

I had heard that 22's are being discontinued and 12 oz bottles would still be around. If 12's are getting axed this will be a sad day.

Rayon Vert in 4 packs is no longer. Sounds like "when" it comes back (which is up in the air), it will be in a larger format bottle, and not year-round.

Had a couple tonight...

Lagunitas Sucks

Great beer that skirts the DIPA/strong ale category. Wonderful muted citrus straight from the fridge and warms up to develop some complex malt and hops, a very well balanced beer

Goose Island Backyard Rye

Straight out of the fridge the bourbon and fruit is subdued, extremely fruity as this warms up. This is my first rye variant of BCBS and to be honest it's just not my thing, I can see why it gets so much love though.

So you're saying that it Sucks?

Crooked Stave Surette. I like it very much. Crisp and dry, with a touch of the CS funk.

Crown Valley Gunslinger DIPA. The first one I really didn't like. Thought it was to fusel with a annoying aspirin bitterness. On the 3rd and I'm really starting to dig it. In general, I like my IPAs big and citrusy but this pulls together the pine and dank pretty well.
