And so It Begins...

Postby JRBoulevard_KC » October 3rd, 2012, 7:25 pm

Well, my lovely wife got me a homebrew starter kit from homebrewers outpost out of flagstaff, AZ for my bday! It really caught me by surprise and I was so geeked about it (cuz you gotta start somewhere, right?)! :D

Also got a couple starter brew kits from Alpine (Northface Nutbrown, and an Anchor steam beer clone).

It also came with a home brewer starter book. So I have started to read that, and I hope to start working this out after work calms down at some point by the start of the new year. Between you guys and some others I know...I think I got the questions covered. But I know figuring stuff out on your own so to speak, is alot of the fun.

Here is the pic. Any starter tips are welcome. Cheers!

Step one - Put down whatever that book is and buy a copy of Palmer's How to Brew.

Step 2 - brew beer

Step 3 - reread How to Brew

Nice. If you want to have a little group brew sometime, let me know. I can brew 2 extract beers at once on my rig.

Awesome. Thanks everyone for the tips, link, proper reading guide info, and invite. For now I'm reading as I can, and drinking beer for inspiration!
