I have wanted to make an ice cider this winter but it has not gotten cold enough. I think it may not at all.

I've got one in bottles now that turned out pretty well. It was a kit from Rebel Brewer (never used them before) called "What Shortage IPA?" that features Amarillo, Simcoe, Citra, and Flaconer's Flight hops (as well as Horizon for bittering). It has a flavor that doesn't strike a chord with me, and I'm not sure if it's one of the hops (thinking Simcoe) or if it's just an off flavor I caused. But I absolutely love the Citra flavor in it, and, overall, it's pretty decent.

However, the aroma was amazing at week 2 in the bottles (it was dry hopped with Falconer's Flight), but it already seems to be fading after about 5 weeks in bottles now.

Need to drink them up while fresh!

I have 2 ciders going. Probably going to throw another together sometime soon. One of these days, I need to brew.

I like that name.

Nowadays it should just be called "We Charge a Lot More, So You Buy Less" IPA

Just finished my first batch. An extract IPA that I dry hoped with almost a pound of Citra and Ammarillo(I know, a little over bord). Its got an AWESOME nose, But kinda an off flavor( soapy?) and looks kinda muddy, dont realy know what went wrong... Not bad tho for my first batch.

Beastiefan has a growler of my Pale Ale, maybe he'll comment on it. I got a 37 score by a national judge at the KCBM comp and I am pretty happy with how it turned out, for the most part.

Eric, did you ever try my Gose? It took Bronze in specialty ale last year.
