It's not exactly bourbon, but - Jenever.

Has anyone found any good oude jenever around the KC area?

I had an amazing experience tasting the list at Arendsnest in Amsterdam, but can't see to find anything but the young jenever. Boomsma's oude is still pretty young, and I had some Bols at Olio in St Louis, but it must have been the jonge variety.
Anyway, an interesting Liquor. Im not very educated on it, but the ones I tasted were flavorful and less neutral than the stuff i've been able to find in in America. Anyone have any leads or interest in this spirit?

The 7 year rye is a classic standby for me. Very easy to sip.

How have I been missing this thread>?!

We have 1 bottle of the AE Rye still at Royal 103rd.

Blantons is a PITA to order, it just kinda shows up randomly throughout the year. Same with Elmer T Lee. I hear some more Lee is dropping here in the coming weeks.

Now onto bragging.... somehow scored a bottle of EH Taylor Cured Oak last week on the KS side!!!!

That cured oak distribution was wonky. I keep hearing of single bottles popping up at random stores.

If you get ETL in again can you give us a heads up? I missed out the last time it dropped and don't want to again. Stupid allocations of things that you used to be able to find on the shelf.

If anybody is looking we had 3 bottles of Orphan Barrel Rhetoric at Lukas OP when I left at 5. My distributor had no idea when ETL would be back in stock.

Grabbed a bottle of Barterhouse today (thanks Reed). Also grabbed another bottle of Angels Envy Rye (this is my 3rd). This might be my favorite spirit I've tried this year.
