NBA 2015-2016

If it's not necessarily beer-related, post about it here.

Just noticed a new Lowe Post podcast posted. Good to see Zach is surviving the bullet that went into Grantland.

Warriors are now off to the best start of any team in the history of professional sports in the U.S. And Curry scored 40 again tonight.

So here's a fun development for this season. Warriors have only lost 1 game. 76ers have only won 1 game.

At season's end, are the 76ers going to have more wins than the Warriors have losses?

At first they were just being beaten but now my Suns are being embarrassed. Gonna be a very long season.

David Blatt, fired? WTF? Okay, I understand, the Warriors are awesome, and so are the Spurs. But if you're not the Spurs or the Warriors, and instead are the undisputed best team in the Eastern Conference, you really think Lue is going to lead you to Ultimate Victory where Blatt couldn't? LeBron runs Cleveland. It doesn't matter who coaches them, that's just how it is.

What??? Struggles more than any other team...how about before LeBron left for Miami?? I mean, in 2006-7, the Cavs got swept out of the Finals by San Antonio! Not winning a single game in a 4-game playoff series is not a struggle, but having a 73% win record not quite halfway through the regular season is?

I guarantee that the Cavs will not get better with this change. Legit #3 best team in the NBA is sometimes as good as it gets, no matter how much money you spend. This is just a historic Golden State team and the Spurs are still the Spurs, playing team basketball like no other team, and have a legit MVP in Kawhi Leonard.

It was a miracle that 07 Cavs team even got to the finals. That team was Lebron James and not another significant player anywhere.

Blatt shouldn't have been hired to begin with. That's not the team you get your NBA start with.

I'll agree with that. I'm just saying that getting rid of him for Lue is not going to make Cleveland win more games than they do now. They're already doing very well. Blatt is now the most successful coach to ever get fired in the middle of a season.

There is a lot more going on in the NBA than this right now (Lakers blow out the Warriors? wut?), but I thought this was hilarious:

Good illustration of why I got extremely nervous at some of the rumors on trade deadline day that Miami was in the running to pick up Howard. No thanks!
