My wife has asked for two bottles of Brandy for Christmas, one mid-tier and the other top tier. Any thoughts on the more enjoyable Brandies or what look for while buying it?

Thanks!!!

My mother in law serves brandy every Christmas Eve. I got fed up drinking erk and jerk so I started bringing it. The last two years I've brought Camus XO cognac. It's great but can be pricey. Also look at Armagnac. I tend to think it's more flavorful.

I don't know much about cheap brandy but when I asked once was told to look at the Armenian brandys.

If your close by my store at 75th/stateline come in and ask for Mark. He can help you pick a couple out and probably give you more information about them than anyone else, he might have some samples as well if I knew which box to look in, I couple tell you what he has. He is usually here until 5ish

That stuff is amazing. Should be around $40-$45 on the KS side.

Do you work at Gomer's or Hyvee?

Nevermind. Mark is at Gomers. Duh.

Nope. It's an orange liqueur that is brandy/cognac based.
