Friend or Foe?

If it's not necessarily beer-related, post about it here.

Friend or Foe?

Clicked on someone's profile and noticed that you have the option to make them your friend or foe. What happens if you choose to make someone your foe?

From the FAQ link in the upper right corner (mostly I am just pointing out that there is one):

faq.php#f6r0

---
What are my Friends and Foes lists?
You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.
---

So posts from foes are invisible to you, normally. Foes are not notified of this in any way. Likewise with friends, any changes take place on your end, with no visibility from the other end. There are ways around all of this, but that's the gist of it.

Deux Rochefort, c'est moins.
Trois Rochefort, faut pas le faire."

I saw this earlier as well and chuckled to myself. Its a great option for a bigger site like RB.
lips of faith is where great beers go to die
I am prefacing this by saying I am really not trying to be a downer.
