New in September

Post by EricH » September 19th, 2019, 4:55 pm

Has anyone else tried the Rahr & Sons Oktoberfest? I picked some up the other day and am thoroughly impressed, that stuff is easily one of the best versions of the style I have ever had. Bonus points for being canned, as well.

Haven't had this years as I'm not fully ready to jump into Oktoberfest other than the usual Free State 6pk but have bought some last year and the year before and totally agree, underrated compared to the others names out there. Also, other than the other "big" names always grab a 6er or 2 of Coop's(also canned) as well.

Not bad, but a bit too much malty sweetness for me. As a rule I prefer festbier over marzen.

Buyer Beware on 2nd Shift can dates. Some of the IPA's had can dates near 2 months old.
The selection was good.

Well, if you have any left, I can take it off your hands.
