I have to mention this one especially, since I will be there:

Thursday, Oct. 18

Strange Days Brewing Co. (316 Oak St.) hosts its Strangers helping Strangers event with a benefit for the Rose Brooks Center. The brewery will donate $1 from every beer sold to help pay for renovations at Rose Brooks.

Breweries don’t just collaborate with other breweries. Torn Label and Mike’s Wine & Spirits have a new beer, Mansion Brew, out today. The imperial coffee stout is made with Thou Mayest Coffee and then aged in a J. Rieger & Co. Cafe Amaro barrel. The limited release is in 22-ounce bottles and available for growler fills from Mike’s location in Brookside. While you’re there, pick up Pompei, a beautiful, juicy IPA, from Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. The Iowa-based brewery just began distributing on both sides of State Line Road.

With Boulevard Brewing Co. retiring Saison-Brett

Whoa, seriously? I must have missed this somehow I guess. Damn.
