Tap Chef at Boulevard Tours & Rec Center

If you missed the last one, Tap Chef is our beer-pairing culinary competition. Each chef will cook three courses. Both will be given the same ingredients they must use on each course and each course will be paired with a Boulevard beer. Guests will get to eat both dishes for each round and then vote on who they think cooked the better dish. The chef with the most votes wins. Two chefs will enter the Tap Chef kitchen but only one will leave (with a full keg of beer).

For this round we have chosen Alex Pope of Local Pig and Vaughn Good of Hank Charcuterie - two mavericks of meat, brothers in butchery and chums of charcuterie. But for one night they will be trying to butcher each other by outcooking the other and showing that they have what it takes to be Tap Chef.

We can’t wait to see what they create with this rounds ingredients: Tank 7 with locally grown corn, The Calling with Yuzu Juice and Bourbon Barrel Quad with Requiem for a Pancake Syrup!
