- I've volunteered at this event before. Your point about volunteers drinking all the rare stuff is flat out false.

Are you calling me a liar???!!!
Did you police all of the volunteers? How the f*ck do you know who drank what?
I know some of the volunteers. I did not and still do not begrudge them; they earned those samples...furthermore, it was not their fault that the decision was made to put them on the south side of the bridge in the full sunlight. They earned every f-ing drop.
You are missing the point.
$135 is too much for me to justify; EVEN IF I GET A SAMPLE OF EVERY RARE BEER, so I will not attend.
I would much rather stomp around in the mud at Parkville with the $35 crowd than drink with my pinkie-finger out and eat foie-gras.
BTW - my T&T ticket is still available.

I echo that response,$115 is out of my range. After the tickets for my wife and I plus a car ride down and back, we are well over $300... Too rich for my blood...

For those who go, I wish you best...

And everyone else, I will see you at Parkville. Cheers

Nope. Just misinformed.

I got your point. Hence my statement about it being a fair personal judgment to feel it is too expensive and skip it.

I will buy you a beer sometime and you can help enlighten me. I am always up for personal enrichment. Peace.

Personal feelings/judgments aside, Taps & Tastes VIP tickets are $115. I'm not sure where the $135 came from.

The extra $20 goes to the Lagerinthefront personal enrichment fund.

IMO more expensive beer fests make for more of a challenge, IE at parkville its pretty easy to drink $35 worth of beer to get your monies worth, but at T&T you have to try and drink $100+ worth of beer responsibly  :?

At least thats how I look at beerfests. I always enjoy them, and although T&T is never "perfect" I always have a great time and get my fill of awesome beer and snacks. Then can go chill out at BLVDIA after and watch some live tunes, which is better than most other fests where you are just stuck watching them tear down.

I'll be there to maybe drink beer and definitely buy any ironic t-shirts with cats on them.
