Goose Island Beer School @ Barley's OP - 3/19

Monday March 19th at 7pm

http://beerforwardkc.blogspot.com/

Join us next Monday at the Barley's on 119th Street in Overland Park as we host another edition of the informative and entertaining Beer School series. This time we'll be tasting and learning about beers from Chicago's Goose Island Brewing Co. including their highly sought-after bourbon barrel-aged barleywine King Henry, Belgian-style ales Matilda & Sofie, Nut Brown and their 312 "urban wheat beer". $8 gets you samples of all the beers and a commemorative glass; reservations must be made in advance. Stop by or call us at (913) 663-4099 to reserve your spot today!

Just bought my ticket over the phone. Anyone else interested in attending?

King Henry!! Woohoo!!

My wife, father in law, and I are for sure going to this too tomorrow! Maybe the bro in law also. Looks like a good lineup!

@pd4ever and EricH. Hopefully we'll get a chance to say hi or sit somwhere halfway close to each other by chance (Jason is my name). That is my pic in the avatar.

I'll be walking in with a small entourage (the wife and father in law). Then the bro and sis in laws are meeting us there for it too, lol! It is cool when your immediate family is halfway into the same things, though.

I asked at the time...and apparently they didn't have enough, so no one got one. He said they had some in the back and if I really wanted 1 they would try and get 1 for myself and my family that came too. But I didn't want to start others all asking for the same thing etc. Lame on their part!
