Bells: News to No One but Me

Post by bibliophile30 » February 16th, 2016, 4:59 pm

I just saw that Bells plans to start distribution in Kansas this year. While I am sure most in the KC area could care less, this is big, happy, news for those west of JoCO/WyCo!

You're kidding me, this is huge! I love Bells. They can't get here soon enough for me. Two Hearted, Kalamazoo Stout, Porter, Expedition, Third Coast Old Ale, Best Brown, those are all beers I've bought on a regular basis since I first tried them.

Yep, this is great! I heard a few days ago and meant to post.

From there website:
Bell's beer will also head to South Dakota, Kansas and Nebraska in 2016

Josh Smith | Bell's Brewery
02.12.2016
We are proud to announce that we have begun the process to bring Bell’s beer to three additional areas in 2016 - the great states of Kansas, Nebraska and South Dakota.

The search for a distributor partner has just begun, so no specific launch date for any state has been set.

“This process always begins with finding the right distributor partner – one who shares our standards of quality, customer service and passion. It will take some time, but we’ll work as fast as we can so that beer can start shipping,” said Bell’s Vice President, Laura Bell.

We will also be heading to Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas this year as well.

More information will be announced as it becomes available here and on social media.

Yeah. After running both the KC and STL Saucers, he went to work for Standard Bev. I think the move to Bells is a pretty recent one but I may be wrong about that. Really great dude.

Yes, very recent. We'll miss him at Standard, but he did great in helping launch Torn Label while he was there and the Bells opportunity is an incredible one; he'll do a fantastic job with Bells releases in KC.
