New in Septembeer
New in Septembeer
Oh yeah. Back to months that you can turn into beer with the addition of one letter. Takes all the effort out of it.
"Une Rochefort, c'est bien.
Deux Rochefort, c'est moins.
Trois Rochefort, faut pas le faire."
Deux Rochefort, c'est moins.
Trois Rochefort, faut pas le faire."

Any sign of Curmudgeon's Better Half? I feel like KC is always the last in the country to get any type of limited releases.
Re: New in Septembeer
I seem to have developed a taste for Imperial Oktoberfests around this time of year. Anyone seen any? I know Avery stopped making the Kaiser (booo) but I seem to recall Boulder distributing one around here, too. I am not picky though, just about any example of the style should do.

The distributor (on the MO side) doesn't release them until the previous one is almost sold out. Rum Runner is finally being released next week because Dank Wood sat for so long. They've had it in their warehouse for a while.tylerajen wrote:Any sign of Curmudgeon's Better Half? I feel like KC is always the last in the country to get any type of limited releases.

Any word on when we can expect the Deschutes/Bell's collaboration schwarzbier? I'm eager to try this! Press release said it rolls out late August.

Had both in Wisconsin this past weekend. Barrel Runner is terrible. It tastes like straight Rum. Curmudgeon was outstanding but based on this info likely won't hit MO til Christmas.
Re: New in Septembeer
Yeah Founders needs to quit wasting perfectly good barrels on IPAs, red ales, and cough syrup stouts. If we could get a new old ale, barleywine, pastry stout, quad or sour for every BA series release that would be great... Still banking on #6 being BA Imperial Stout which we will see in March at this rate.

Avery Raspberry Truffale and a very small amount of Firestone Walker Dark and Stormy in at Lukas OP.
