CBS price check

Post by JEdmund » November 7th, 2018, 3:24 pm

Can anyone tell me the price on CBS? Seems like I passed on it last year due to it being fairly pricey (plus I had a glass on tap).

Thanks!

$23.99 at Lukas OP. It's steep for sure. I would have passed, but I've never had a decent sized pour of it. Only beerfest samples or a small pour at a large bottle share.

Edit: in my experience Lukas tends to have the most reasonable prices in OP/Olathe where I procure most of my beers.

$23.99 is the price I paid. Seems to be pretty consistent across the board. Although, if I recall last year a few places were charging $25.99.

Saw it at Bubbles tonight for $24.

I had it on draft at HopCat last night and it’s really good this year in my opinion but not worth the price tag. So many other great options out there and at way more reasonable prices.

Gomers Midtown is in line with those (can't remember if I paid 22.99 or 23.99). That might be the "line" for how much I'd pay...until I move the line LOL. I'm certainly only getting one, though this is only the second year I've been able to get a hold of it.

It's not 100% Blis barrel aged anymore, it's just maple syrup kbs now. Hard pass.

Haven't had mine yet, but I've heard it's not the same as before. KBS is meh, so I'm really sad to hear that.
