I am going to work on a deserted island for 4 months. Middleton Island, AK. There are weekly re-supply flights out of Anchorage, AK. My go-to beers in KC are 2-hearted, Zip Line IPA, KCBC Dunkel & ERWO. Any suggestions for Alaska beer stand-ins?

I don't think you are going to be in any trouble, Alaska has some of the best brewers in the country, specifically Anchorage Brewing, Alaskan Brewing (their Smoked Porter is legendary) and Midnight Sun.

Here's the RB Top 25 for Alaska, both what is available in the state and what is brewed there:

Another list with the Top 50 beers:

https://www.ratebeer.com/top/all/us/alaska (Lot of high-ABV stuff on that list, unsurprisingly)

Info from some travel-related sites:

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like Anchorage & Midnight have things locked-down up there. I found a chain of liquor stores that takes 'Bush Orders' & there is one next to the airport. So...hopefully they have a beer Sherpa to pick & ship me some good beers.

I definitely love me some Tank 7. I am going to try to stick with cans though (lower weight, more modular, no broken glass, no sun-strike issues blah blah blah). I will try to get a pick of a Tank 7 with something Alaska (like a moose, bear or toe-shot) for you.

Rebuilding the gravel runway. Basically breaking big rocks into little rocks, hauling, placing, packing, testing and...repeat. I'll try to post some pix
