Yep, while 'Mambazham' is in itself is an English translation of the Malayalam phrase for "ripe mango," that poem was indeed an inspiration for the beer name. For a Mango Lassi-inspired IPA, it felt proper to have the name be a nod to the South Asian roots and cultural significance of mango fruit and mango lassi in particular in the Indian subcontinent; but on the other hand if it languishes on shelves because nobody can pronounce the name, that's on me :P

Update to this label has been approved by COLA, looks like the only difference is the words Brewed with fair trade, small batch Coffee and the ABV is now listed as 5.5%. https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=19112001000953
