Drink my cellar party

Post by hopmolester69 » March 8th, 2020, 2:35 pm

Contemplating a "Drink My Cellar" party.

Just gauging some interest, it mainly consists of limited release stouts and beers that you would typically cellar.

Approx 50 bottles.

Has anyone done this before?

Thanks!

Well I mean, to an extent, just about every tasting I have been to has been a "drink the cellar" event, or at least an attempt at one. I did go to one of Ted's cellar events, back in 2013 or so, when we used to do those kinds of things.

Are you here in town for the time being then?

I'll be in town later this month but I'd have the party this summer or during the holidays.

I was just feeling it out to see who has any experience with these.

Thanks for sharing your experience, we definitely need a good craftbeerKC get together

I would be interested. I always enjoy meeting up with anyone from this board and these kind of events are great with the few I have been too. One I went to in the past was all stouts so the host ask that people bring some sour or IPA to break up the flavors between each few stouts which I really liked.

Hell yeah to the cellar party. I have bottles to bring too!

Ted might be interested as well, date depending of course.

I'm in. I doubt anything from my cellar will make it through the Corona-pocalypse though.

I was actually planning on visiting SFCA this year. Pretty sure that's not gonna happen now!

Oh yeah, that was from back in March.

I am not even going inside a restaurant for the foreseeable future, much less traveling anywhere.
