No. KCA is a band of Budweiser distributors. Central States is a Miller/Coors house.

Hmm, I don't like Topeka's chances. I mean, what other distributor could pick them up? Seriously, I am not in the biz. I don't know how it works.

Central States is an oddity. They are in a network of distributorships that includes Crown out of Topeka, but they also have exclusive rights to a few brands (Founders, Mother's). So, it all depends on how the contracts are drawn/ what 4 Hands wants to do. Best case for Top-City is that Central States will get rights, along with Crown (like Boulevard/ River North/ Big Sky/ Stone) and Crown will distribute to Topeka/ Salina and a few other territories. Or, 4 Hands could change their minds completely and go with a state-wide distributor like Standard Beverage or Worldwide and be everywhere overnight. My pure conjecture is that won't happen. If they come (again, PURE CONJECTURE) is that they roll with a smaller distributor, geographically speaking. They don't make enough beer/ don't have enough mass-appeal or brand recognition yet to roll out the whole state at once. IMO.

That's a pretty optimistic projection.
