Distributor is hoping Monday or Tuesday.
Is this still a release people go crazy for? I figure there's still interest, but it should be a fraction of what it was when it was only available on the MO side and (more importantly) before DIPA's were widely available.

It’s dated in comparison but some people still just really love beer.

It's a lot easier to get a hold of than it used to be. I remember when I had to "luck" upon a 6 pack that someone on the list didn't get as I happened to walk in the store...or the store splitting all the 6 packs and limiting to 3 units.

Still good, but if they try go crazy on the price (more than 2.25/can or so) I may let it go.

Last year when I went looking for Hopslam and didn't find any at the store, the beer guy there suggested some COOP Ale Works Alpha Hive instead, as it is also a 100 IBU DIPA brewed with honey. It was damn tasty, I think I will do the same this year.

Hopslam has landed in KS

On another note, am I correct in assuming Materfamilias is a rebranding of MILF?

Answered my own question: https://www.mothersbrewing.com/blog_pos ... rfamilias/

Kudos to Mother's for the maturation this represents as a company. Also, I really like the name. It reminds me of Oh Brother Where art Thou.

Agreed, that is a positive change for them.

It looks like Harpoon products have arrived in KS. I didn't hear anything about that in advance and don't know how excited I am about it, but figured it was worth a mention.
